Hay fever and allergy
Hay fever is your bodies reaction to allergens – typically seasonal pollen. It is also known as ‘seasonal allergic rhinitis’. Affecting one in five individuals it is one of the most common conditions in the UK.
Typical symptoms can include runny, itchy, blocked noses, sneezing and itchy eyes.
Hay Fever season in the UK is typically March through to October, however it is not uncommon to be sensitive to pollens which some plants shed outside of this period.
You do not need to continue to suffer – there are a plethora of options available from tablets to nasal sprays and eye drops; designed to target the reaction at its source, acting quickly and effectively.
The majority of products can be purchased without a prescription (although may require some simple questions answering for us to ensure the medication is safe for you). If there is a product you are interested in that is not listed below please feel free to contact us and one of our GPhC registered prescribing pharmacists would be more than happy to help.
